Hi, I’m studying (at Waseda University, Japan) the determinants of the New Zealand wine industry’s export success. I was simply going to make an enquiry about when the Centre for Viticulture and Oenology was established at Lincoln University, but while I’m writing, could I also perhaps ask if you have any papers or research regarding the diffusion of wine technology within the industry in New Zealand? Particularly, I’d like to know about the transfer of any technology or oenological knowledge to the industry from the large multi-national liquor companies who now own significant interests in the industry in New Zealand. But if anything is available regarding technological advances in the industry (or alternatively, any national branding of the NZ wine industry) I’d be very grateful.
So thank you so much if you can help.
Kind regards,
Joel Woodbury
