Since leaving Lincoln I have had the privilege of working as a viticulturist with Mission Hill Family Estate in the Okanagan region of British Columbia.  Mission Hill has roughly 420 Ha of vineyard area from which we harvested over 4,000 metric tonnes of grapes.  In addition to my duties as viticulturist, I have been able to spearhead a composting program that produces 800 cubic meters of material from a combination of raw materials, including our own winery waste, which we will ultimately spread back into the vineyard. The knowledge and passion for viticulture and oenology that the professors at Lincoln pass on to the students is indispensable.  I highly recommend to anyone interested in growing or making wine that they look into the Lincoln program as it is an excellent program that is well respected in all grape growing regions across the globe.
