Professor Tony Wolf presented a seminar entitled “Wine grape growing in the US mid-Atlantic states: adversity and opportunity” at Lincoln University in March 2006.
Tony Wolf is Professor of Viticulture with Virginia Tech where he has been employed since 1986. His graduate education included a M.S. at the Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. at Cornell University. Research interests include aspects of cold stress physiology, adjusting vineyard management to optimise crop yield and quality, cultivar and clone evaluations and grape pathology. Professor Wolf conducts viticulture extension programmes state-wide and regionally and, since 2004, has also served as Director of the AHS Agriculture Research and Extension Centre.
